I’ve forgotten my password, what should I do?

 

To reset your password, click on “forgot your password”. You will be asked to supply username and email address you registered with. You will shortly receive an email with an access code and instructions on how to reset your password.

 

I’ve forgotten my username, what should I do?

 

If you can’t remember your username, click on “forgot your username”. You will need to supply your email address you registered with and click “validate”, this will take you to the next page where it reminds you of your username.

 

How do I apply for a role I have seen?

 

To apply you just need to click on the “apply online” button located either at the top of the page or the bottom of the advert. If this is the first time you have applied for a role at Lewisham Council on the new system, you will need to click on “New user” and complete the new user registration. It’s always a good idea to make a note of your registration details.

 

How do I view the job description and person specification for the role?

 

All relevant documents for the role, including job description, person specification and guidance notes, are at the bottom of the advert, highlighted in blue. When you click on the links it will open up the document.

 

Why have I been locked out of my account?

 

Your account has been locked following too many unsuccessful login attempts; please try again in 10 minutes.

What should I do if I am unable to submit my application?

 

We encourage you to try to submit your application as early as possible before the closing date to avoid any difficulties.

 

If you are unable to submit your application before the closing date, please email us at recruitment@lewisham.gov.uk explaining the error and a member of the resourcing team will assist you. If it’s during working hours of 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, you can call the recruitment team on 0208 314 8426 and we will also be able to assist.

 

Can I apply if I currently do not have the Right to Work / work permit?

 

Lewisham Council considers all applications and each application is looked at on a case by case basis – to work at Lewisham Council you must have the Right to work and remain in the UK.
